MOVE 2026: What the Numbers Say About March
Numbers can flatten the reality of Gospel ministry if we are not careful. Behind every figure in the MOVE 2026 March Summary is a person who heard the name of Jesus, perhaps for the first time, in their own language, in their own community. The numbers matter because the people they represent matter.
With that in mind, here is what GlobeServe’s MOVE 2026 initiative achieved across 63 communities in northern Ghana during March 2026.
The Headline Numbers
18,121 People were reached with the Gospel across 63 communities.
5,269 Salvations were recorded. These are people who made a decision to place their faith in Jesus Christ.
198 Disciples were made. These are new believers who are being actively equipped to live as followers of Christ and to make further disciples.
190 House churches were planted. These are gatherings of believers meeting in homes and community spaces, forming the foundation of a growing church movement.
69 Official churches were planted, representing formally established congregations now rooted in these communities.
The Jesus Film: 38% Salvation Rate
The Jesus Film ministry produced some of the most striking results of the month. The film was screened 72 times across multiple communities, drawing a total audience of 13,626 people. Of those viewers, 5,161 were recorded as having come to salvation, representing a 38% salvation rate among those who watched.
These numbers are not the result of high-pressure tactics or emotional manipulation. The Jesus Film presents the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ in straightforward narrative form, available in local languages and dialects. When people see and hear the story of Jesus in their own tongue, the Holy Spirit does what only He can do.
63 Communities: What That Means
63 communities reached in a single month, by 15 field workers, travelling largely by motorbike, in dry-season heat. That is an average of more than four communities per worker. It is a remarkable pace, sustained by faith, physical endurance, and the conviction that every community deserves to hear the Gospel.
The goal of MOVE 2026 is not simply to visit communities but to see them transformed. The planting of 190 house churches means that in the vast majority of those 63 communities, there is now a gathering of believers that will continue to grow and disciple others long after the MOVE 2026 team has moved on to the next village.
The Vision Behind the Numbers
GlobeServe’s International Mission Director has been clear from the beginning about what the MOVE 2026 programme is working toward. “Evangelism is not terminated until it results in people coming to place their faith in Jesus Christ, the gathering of believers into house churches, and the making of disciples that will help us realise the emergence of Celebration Churches.”
March 2026 brought 5,269 new believers, 198 disciples, and 190 house churches closer to that vision. Every number is a name. Every name is a story. And every story is a miracle of grace.
