Frauenshuh Preparatory School: Growing a Generation of Learners

On the banks of community life in Adidome, Frauenshuh Preparatory School continues to be a place where young people discover their potential. Under the care of GlobeServe Ministries International, the school is completing a strong second term in 2026, with 432 students enrolled and a community of teachers, parents, and leaders working together for their flourishing.

A Growing School Community

The second term has brought 28 new admissions to the school, bringing the total student population to 432. Each new student represents a family that has placed its trust in Frauenshuh Preparatory School as a foundation for their child’s future. The school is proud to meet that trust with academic rigour, pastoral care, and a Christ-centred learning environment.

The school’s operational sustainability is also worth noting. Frauenshuh Preparatory School is independently covering most staff costs through school fees, which fund tuition, first aid resources, and teacher support. Scholarship students and church members on staff continue to receive 50% support from the GlobeServe head office, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent the most gifted teachers or students from participating fully in the school’s mission.

Celebrating Creativity: The Term’s Art Competition

This term, the school brought its students together for an art competition running from Basic 4 through Junior High School 3. Competitions like this are not peripheral to the school’s mission. They create space for students to express themselves, develop confidence, and discover gifts that academic subjects alone cannot surface. The artwork produced by the students has been widely praised, and one particular drawing will be presented to the school’s valued partner, Mr. Franchu, as a gesture of appreciation and relationship.

BECE Preparation: A Season of Focus

The most significant milestone on the school’s horizon is the Basic Education Certificate Examination, scheduled to take place from May 4 to May 11. BECE candidates are currently in active preparation, working through revision materials and past papers under the guidance of dedicated teachers.

The BECE is a defining moment in the educational journey of every Junior High School student in Ghana. It determines access to Senior High School and shapes the trajectory of a young person’s future. At Frauenshuh Preparatory School, we take this responsibility seriously. We are asking everyone in our GlobeServe community and among our partners and donors to keep our BECE candidates in prayer as they work toward this important milestone.

A School Built on Faith

Frauenshuh Preparatory School is more than an academic institution. It is a community formed by the conviction that every child deserves a quality education and the opportunity to discover who God created them to be. With 432 students now enrolled, new names to carry forward, and a cohort of young people about to sit one of the most important examinations of their lives, we are grateful for every partner, donor, and prayer warrior who makes this work possible.
