GlobeServe Celebrates the Graduating Class of 2025
Diploma in Theological Studies
GlobeServe Ministries International, in collaborative partnership with Sheltering Wings (USA), joyfully celebrates the successful graduation of the Diploma in Theological Studies – Class of 2025. The graduation, held in November, marked a significant milestone in GlobeServe’s ongoing commitment to biblical training, pastoral formation, and missionary preparation.
Approximately 40 students completed the program after months of intensive study, spiritual formation, and ministry-focused training. These graduates now stand equipped to serve as pastors, church leaders, teachers, and missionaries, ready to strengthen the Church and advance the Gospel in their communities and beyond.
A Journey of Formation, Faith, and Perseverance
This cohort embarked on a rigorous season of theological training designed to shape both character and calling. Through seasons of study, prayer, reflection, and practical ministry, these students demonstrated perseverance, discipline, and a deep hunger to rightly handle the Word of God.
We commend every graduate for remaining steadfast throughout the program. Their commitment reflects a readiness to serve the Church with sound doctrine, spiritual maturity, and missional conviction.
Equipping Leaders for the Work of Ministry
The Diploma in Theological Studies is designed to provide sound biblical grounding, theological depth, and practical ministry skills for those called into Christian service. Rooted in Scripture and shaped by mission, the program seeks to raise leaders who can rightly handle God’s Word while serving faithfully in diverse cultural and ministry contexts.
The training stands firmly on Ephesians 4:12:
“For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
This verse captures the heart of the program preparing believers for effective ministry and building up the Body of Christ through well-trained, Spirit-led leadership.
Courses That Shaped Faithful Servant-Leaders
Throughout the program, students engaged with a carefully structured curriculum that integrates theology, Scripture, and spiritual formation. Each course was taught with a strong emphasis on contextual application, especially for ministry within African and mission-field settings.
Ecclesiology
This course explored the nature, mission, and structure of the Church, helping students understand the Church as both a spiritual body and a missional community. Students examined biblical models of church leadership, governance, and discipleship, preparing them to build healthy, Christ-centered churches.
Biblical Theology
Biblical Theology guided students through the unfolding redemptive story of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. Emphasis was placed on understanding the Bible as one unified narrative centered on Christ, enabling students to teach Scripture faithfully and coherently.
Systematic Theology
In Systematic Theology, students studied the core doctrines of the Christian faith, including God, Christ, salvation, the Holy Spirit, the Church, and last things. This course strengthened doctrinal clarity and equipped students to defend biblical truth in an increasingly complex world.
Exegesis
Exegesis trained students in careful biblical interpretation, teaching them how to study Scripture within its historical, cultural, and literary context. This course emphasized drawing meaning from the text itself rather than imposing personal opinions onto Scripture.
Hermeneutics
Closely connected to Exegesis, Hermeneutics focused on the principles and methods of interpreting Scripture accurately. Students learned how to bridge the gap between the ancient biblical world and contemporary ministry contexts.
Christology
Christology centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ, exploring His divinity, humanity, mission, death, resurrection, and ongoing ministry. This course deepened students’ understanding of Christ as the foundation of Christian faith and ministry.
Spiritual Gifts
This course helped students identify, understand, and steward spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church. Emphasis was placed on serving with humility, unity, and dependence on the Holy Spirit rather than personal ambition.
Living by the Spirit
Living by the Spirit focused on spiritual formation and daily Christian living. Students were encouraged to cultivate prayerful lives, godly character, and Spirit-led ministry rooted in obedience and dependence on God.
A Celebration of Partnership and Leadership
This achievement reflects the collective investment of faithful leaders and partners who believe in the power of theological education for Kingdom impact. GlobeServe Missionary Church extends heartfelt appreciation to:
