A Mission to the Northern Region

A Historic Gathering with Northern Region Chiefs

On March 21st, Rev. Samuel Dunya, partners from the US Board and the GlobeServe team held a significant meeting with 120 chiefs from various traditional areas in the Northern Region. This gathering was a landmark moment in our mission to spread the Gospel and establish meaningful relationships with community leaders.

During the meeting, each chief was gifted a Bible, symbolizing our commitment to sharing God’s Word and fostering spiritual growth in these traditional communities. In a powerful moment of unity and faith, the chiefs granted clear permission for the Gospel to be preached in their respective areas. This historic approval paves the way for deeper engagement, church planting, and community transformation.

Community Outreach in Boakotido

The mission continued on March 22nd, as the team visited Boakotido, a community with a population of about 450 people. With a heart for holistic transformation, GlobeServe provided essential health interventions to improve community well-being.

  • 300 people received deworming treatments, ensuring better health, particularly for children who are often vulnerable to parasitic infections.

Over 300 insecticide-treated mosquito nets were distributed, offering protection against malaria, a major health challenge in the region.

Dedication of a Well for Clean Water

A major highlight of the outreach was the dedication of a newly constructed well in Boakotido. Access to clean water is a fundamental necessity, and this well now serves as a lifeline for the entire community, reducing waterborne diseases and improving daily life.

The joy and gratitude from the people of Boakotido were overwhelming as they celebrated this new source of fresh water. This initiative reflects GlobeServe’s commitment to both spiritual and physical well-being in the communities we serve.

Moving Forward with Impact

These two days of ministry and outreach mark a significant step in expanding the Gospel and improving lives in the Northern Region. As we continue to build relationships with traditional leaders, provide humanitarian aid, and share the Gospel, we trust that God will open even more doors for transformation.

We invite you to join us in prayer and support as we continue this vital mission. Together, we can bring hope, healing, and salvation to many more communities.
