In the spirit of encouragement and hope, Rev. Samuel Dunya recently visited the Vocational School in Bonbung, Northern Region, to spend time with the teachers and students. This visit marked a special moment as the school community prepared to break for the Christmas holiday.
Rev. Dunya’s visit was filled with inspiration as he took the time to pray with the students and staff, reminding them of the value of education, faith, and perseverance. He expressed heartfelt appreciation for the dedication of the teachers and applauded the students for their commitment to learning and skill development.
The Bonbung Vocational School currently boasts an enrollment of 126 girls, with 45 students preparing to graduate in June 2025. These young women are gaining practical skills that will equip them for sustainable livelihoods and brighter futures.
Rev. Dunya emphasized the importance of vocational training in empowering girls and creating opportunities for economic independence. The school’s focus on hands-on training ensures that graduates leave with skills that directly impact their communities.
As the school looks ahead to the upcoming graduation, an urgent need has arisen to equip the students for success. To further empower the graduating class, the school is seeking funds to purchase 50 sewing machines. These machines will provide the graduates with the tools needed to start their businesses, support their families, and contribute to their communities.
We invite all friends, partners, and supporters to join us in this mission of empowerment. Your contribution can make a lasting difference in the lives of these young women as they step into the next chapter of their journeys.
Let’s continue to build brighter futures, one skill at a time.
