Advancing the Gospel: MOVE-2025 in Action

Rev. Samuel Dunya gathered with 12 missionaries and pastors at the GlobeServe Center for Africa Missions in Tamale to unveil the bold and transformative vision known as MOVE-2025. This initiative sets ambitious goals for GlobeServe’s missionary efforts in the coming years:

  • Communities to Reach: 480
  • People to Reach with the Gospel: 250,000
  • Salvations Target: 40,000

MOVE-2025 is not just a plan—it’s a mission already in progress. With determination, faith, and commitment, GlobeServe missionaries are actively working to bring the Gospel to unreached communities, plant new churches, and train leaders who will carry the vision forward.

Key Activities Underway in MOVE-2025

1. A New Church Established at Tugenk

A significant milestone in MOVE-2025 is the successful establishment of a new church in Tugenk, near Dagago. This church provides a place of worship and fellowship for local believers while creating a hub for future outreach.

“This church is a symbol of hope and transformation for Tugenk, marking the beginning of many lives being touched by the Gospel,” shared one of the missionaries involved.

2. Evangelism in Houo and Boumanye

Missionaries have conducted evangelistic programs in the villages of Houo and Boumanye, engaging with the communities through preaching, teaching, and sharing the message of salvation. The result? An astounding 86 people committed their lives to Christ during these outreach events.

These gatherings emphasized the Gospel’s power to bring healing, unity, and hope to people in need.

3. Engaging with Local Chiefs

Understanding the importance of local leadership, missionaries are building relationships with chiefs in key communities, including:

  • Adaparasi
  • Komfokrom
  • Buipe

By engaging with these leaders, GlobeServe is fostering trust and collaboration, paving the way for sustainable Gospel impact.

“When we approach these communities with respect for their traditions and leadership, it opens doors for meaningful partnerships,” noted one missionary.

Empowering Leaders for the Mission

Training 20 Disciples for Church Planting

As part of MOVE-2025, 20 disciples are undergoing intensive training to equip them for church planting and evangelistic missions. These future leaders will be sent out to start new churches, helping to expand the reach of the Gospel.

The training covers practical ministry skills, theological education, and strategies for community engagement, ensuring these disciples are well-prepared to fulfill their calling.

Second Mission Journey

Missionaries are embarking on their more mission journey, revisiting communities and exploring new areas to share the Gospel. This journey focuses on soul-winning, discipleship, and laying the groundwork for more church plants.

“Every journey strengthens our resolve to see more lives transformed by Christ,” one missionary shared.
